Principal
Mr. Netchert is currently General Counsel to the Hudson County Improvement Authority and is involved in all areas of their litigation. He has been involved in numerous site remediations, environmental compliance actions and planning.
Mr. Netchert has an extensive record of public service. He is a lifelong Jersey City resident who served as Assistant County Counsel for 25 years and as a Jersey City Planning Board Attorney for 13 years. He is a former Board of Education Member and former Director of the Hudson County chapter of the American Red Cross.
Over the course of his forty-five years of practice, Mr. Netchert has served as Counsel to the Director of the New Jersey Division of Motor Vehicles, County Adjuster for Hudson County and has represented various other municipal agencies. Mr. Netchert was a Trustee of Hudson County Community College as well as Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
Mr. Netchert served as the President of the Hudson County Bar Association in 2004–2005. He has been involved in all areas of the firm's litigation practice and is a frequent speaker on litigation tactics and file handling.
Principal
Mr. Dineen specializes in the defense of Municipal Corporations. Currently, Mr. Dineen is General Counsel to the Hudson County Schools of Technology as well as municipal attorney for the Town of Harrington Park and counsel to the Harrington Park Board of Education. Mr. Dineen is also the board attorney for the North Bergen Board of Adjustment.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Dineen has been involved in numerous commercial, catastrophic injury cases and has emerged as a top products liability litigator. In addition, Mr. Dineen handles corporate and residential real estate transactions and litigation, employment discrimination, wills trusts and estates and municipal court proceedings.
Mr. Dineen is a graduate of the University of Scranton and St. John's University, School of Law. He is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of New Jersey and New York as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Mr. Dineen holds a Diplomat in Municipal Law conferred by Rutgers University. He has lectured on behalf of The Institute for Continuing Legal Education regarding “The Seat Belt Defense.” He is a “Master” in The Hudson County Inns of Court and Co-Chair of the Program Committee. Mr. Dineen is also a member of the Hudson County Civil Practice Committee, Hudson County Bar Association and sits as an Arbitrator in Hudson County.
Associate
Matthew P. Posada is a graduate of Rutgers University and Rutgers School of Law. He was admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey in 2013 and in the U.S. District Court of New Jersey in 2015. While in law school, Mr. Posada was a law clerk for The Law Offices of Eugene S. Wishnic and Greener by Design. Also in law school, Mr. Posada was actively involved in Moot Court and the Bankruptcy Pro Bono projects. After graduating from Rutgers Law, Mr. Posada was a judicial clerk for the Honorable Alvaro L. Iglesias, J.S.C. who presides in Hudson County, New Jersey Vicinage.
As an associate with the law firm, Mr. Posada concentrates on workers’ compensation matters. He also assists the firm in civil litigation, municipal defense, landlord tenant, and real estate matters. Mr. Posada is a member of the Hudson County Inns of Court and Hudson County Bar Association.
Associate
Melissa A. Cartine earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2014 and her B.A. from New York University. In addition, Ms. Cartine earned a Health Law Concentration from Seton Hall’s top-ranked health law program and is certified in U.S. healthcare compliance. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey and is currently awaiting admission to the state bar of New York. While in law school, Ms. Cartine focused her studies in the areas of health law, employment law, and immigration law. She has completed several legal internships including an externship with LegalHealth, the largest legal-medical partnership in the nation.
As an associate with the law firm, Ms. Cartine handles a broad array of civil litigation matters. In addition, she concentrates on workers’ compensation and municipal defense matters. In her free time, Ms. Cartine is a committed volunteer and has provided pro bono legal services to lower-income families throughout New York and New Jersey. She is also a volunteer with the New York Junior League, an organization dedicated to strengthening families and communities in New York City.
